Using marketing to provide offers and credits for your customers.

Create an offer

An offer can be used to apply promotions or set up discount codes.

  1. Go to your Dashboard.

  2. Select Marketing and Offers.

  3. Click the blue circle with the plus inside it.

  4. Under the Basic tab.

  5. Give your offer a name.

  6. Give the offer a discount value, which can be:

    • Fixed amount.

    • Percentage off.

  7. Select the conditions of your offer.

    • All customers.

    • Specific customers only.

  8. How the customer can redeem the offer:

    • Apply automatically at checkout.

    • The user enters a promotion code.

  9. How often can the offer be used:

    • Multiple use.

    • Single use.

    • First purchase only.

  10. Under the ADVANCE tab.

  11. Specify how long the offer is active for.

  12. Select what type of orders the promotion applies to:

    • All

    • Delivery

    • Collection

    • To seat

  13. Choose how the offer is displayed:

    • The banner is always shown

    • A pop-up will be shown when a computer opens the web app.

  14. Click Done to save.

๐Ÿค“Tip: You can leave all details empty and set the offer as a pop-up or banner with text and use this feature as a notification.


Create a customer-specific offer

Creating an offer that is only available for one specified customer.

  1. Go to the QikServe Dashboard.

  2. Select Marketing.

  3. Click the blue circle with the plus symbol inside it.

  4. Follow the previous steps on setting up the amount and conditions of the discount.

  5. Set the conditions of your offer to Specific customers only

  6. Once the promotion is set up and you've pressed Done,

  7. Return to the promotions page.

  8. Hover your mouse/pointer over the three dots next to your promotion name.

  9. Click the one named Apply to customer account.

  10. In the side screen that appears, use the search bar to search for the required customer name/s.

  11. Click APPLY PROMOTION at the bottom right of the screen.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: You will only be able to add customer-specific promotions to customers who have already created an account.


Using marketing to communicate with your customers

Marketing can be used to create banners and pop-ups to display information to customers.

  1. Go to your Dashboard.

  2. Select Marketing

  3. Click the blue circle with the plus symbol inside it.

  4. Under the BASIC tab, both banner and pop-up promotions will have the same configuration.

    • Promotion name - This name will be internal facing and not appear on the. customer check.

    • Discount value - Set to currency with a value of 0.

    • All customers.

    • Multiple use.

    • Apply to the basket total.

  5. Under the ADVANCED tab, at the bottom, you can activate banner or pop-up, then add the messaging youโ€™d like customers to see.

โ€‹Create an item-specific offer

How to make an item for a specific item only.

  1. Go to the QikServe Dashboard.

  2. Select '.Marketing.

  3. Click the blue circle with the plus symbol inside it.

  4. Follow the previous steps to configure the details of the discount.

  5. Search for the item you want the promotion to apply to and then select it from the drop-down list.

  6. Under the ADVANCED tab, you can specify how long the offer is active for (Set validity period) and what type of orders the promotion applies to:

    • All

    • Delivery

    • Collection

    • Voucher

  7. Click 'Done' to save

Creating a Qualified Item Offer

This offer is applied only to qualified items. The qualified items can be specified by name, section, or tag. It will be applied only if qualified items are present in the basket, with the option to select a minimum order value of qualified items.

  • Go to the QikServe Dashboard.

  • Select Marketing.

  • Click the blue circle with the plus symbol inside it.

  • Follow the previous steps to configure the details of the discount.

  • Choose the qualified items by name, all items from a section, or by tag.

  • Under the ADVANCED tab, you can specify the minimum order amount to apply the discount. If set, the user must have this amount, spent only on qualified items, to trigger the promotion.

  • Click Done to save.
