Creating and adding tags on the Qikserve dashboard.

Create a Tag

  1. On the dashboard, click on Tags.

  2. Then click My Tags.

  3. Click the blue plus sign button to create a tag.

  4. Enter the tag's name.

  5. Click Done to save the tag.

Creating a Tag Action

Tag actions define what happens when something that has a tag applied does when one of the triggers is activated.

  1. On the dashboard, click on Tags.

  2. Then click Tag.

  3. Click the blue plus sign button to create a tag.

  4. Fill in the tag action details

    • Tag action name.

    • Message title.

    • Message body.

  5. In the tags field, add the tag you have created that you wish to be assigned to this action.

  6. Select a Trigger

    • Add to basket or Checkout

  7. Select the frequency:

    • Once only

    • Once per order

    • On every trigger

  8. In the advanced tab, you can link to an extra URL:

    • Add the button label.

    • Add the URL.

  9. Click Done to save the tag.


Adding a tag

You can add a tag to:

  • Item

  • Section

  • Offer

All of these can be used to set off the tag action as well.

Add to section

  1. Go to Menus.

  2. Then to My Menus.

  3. Within the menu you have selected, find the section you wish to add the tag.

  4. Hover over the section and click the pencil icon to edit.

  5. In the tags field, enter the name of the tag you created

  6. Click Done to save and apply.

Add to item

  1. Go to Menus.

  2. Then to Items.

  3. Find the item you wish to add the tag.

  4. Hover over the item and click the pencil icon to edit.

  5. In the tags field, enter the name of the tag you created

  6. Click Done to save and apply.

Add to offers

  1. Go to Marketing.

  2. Then to Offers.

  3. Find the offer you wish to add the tag.

  4. Hover over the offer and click the pencil icon to edit.

  5. In the tags field, enter the name of the tag you created

  6. Click Done to save and apply.
