Learn important information about managing this payment provider.

Access Pay hub

Find out where you can access Pay Hub through Access Evo.

  1. Once you have completed onboarding, you shall be given access to Access evo.

  2. Log in to Access Evo.

  3. Head to the top left.

  4. Open the drop-down by clicking Access.

  5. Click on Products.

  6. Select the Pay Hub option.

  7. This will open the Pay Hub tab.


Pay Hub - Payments

Understand the tools you have when navigating the payments tab.

  1. Click on payments on the side navigation bar.

  2. Under Transactions, you can select what filters to apply

  3. These are

    • Transaction date

    • Card Type

    • Transaction State

    • Transaction Type

  4. To export the data, click on Export once you have set the filters you like.

  5. The same steps can be used for the Operations tab.

  6. The Operations tab will allow you to filter by using operations such as:

    • Pre Auth.

    • Capture.

    • Refund.

    • Cancel.

    • Adjustment.

    • Final Auth.

πŸ“ŒNote: Transaction type can only be used if you have a Chip and Pin machine as well; online orders will fall under Ecom.

According to the filters, orders will be shown underneath. You can click on the order to view extra information.


Pay Hub - Refunds

Show how to action a refund on Pay Hub.

  1. Login into Access Evo.

  2. Open the Pay Hub tab.

  3. On the Payments tab, use the filters to find the order you wish to refund.

  4. Click on the order once found to see further information.

  5. Click the refund button to begin.

  6. Enter the amount you wish to refund.

  7. Click Refund Transaction to action.


Pay Hub - Reports

Learn how to access and navigate reports on Pay Hub.

  1. On Access Pay Hub.

  2. Click the Reports tab.

  3. Use the filters to export the data you require:

    • Date.

    • Balance Accounts.

    • Stores.

    • Type:

      • FRR Detailed

      • FRR Daily Summary

      • Merchnat Statement View

  4. Click Export to download the report.

Manage Disputes

Learn where to view active disputes and how to manage them on the Pay hub page.

  1. On the Pay hub page.

  2. Select Disputes.

  3. Here are 3 sections:

    • Chargebacks.

    • Fraud Alerts.

    • Ongoing and Closed.

  4. In each section, you have a further filter button, which are:

    • Date range.

    • Payment method.

    • Reason.

Select the dispute to view dispute details. For chargebacks, you can respond directly. You can accept the dispute or defend it by selecting a reason and uploading defence documents.

Click Defend chargeback or Accept as required.


Chargebacks

You can view all chargebacks that still need a response, along with any RFIs (Requests for Information) that require action. Each dispute entry shows the response-by date, the date it was opened, the payment method, the dispute reason, and the disputed amount. Selecting a dispute opens the Dispute Management component, where you can choose to accept the dispute or submit a defence.

If you defend a chargeback, the status in the Ongoing & closed tab will change to Pending. Following a decision the status will change to Won or Lost.


Fraud Alerts

View alerts to help you identify suspicious activity. Each record includes the payment method, fraud reason, total payment amount, and date of the alert.


Ongoing and Closed

You can browse all active chargebacks, RFIs, and completed disputes in one place, making it easier to track them and match each case to the related payment activity. Every dispute entry shows the payment method used, the reason for the dispute, the amount involved, and the current status so you always know where things stand.
