Adding a modifier to an item
After creating an item and a modifier, here's how to combine the two.
Go to the menus and then to my menus.
Find the section where the time is.
Click the ADD Modifiers button in the top right.
A list of your created modifiers will be shown.
Use the search function to find the right one.
Drag the correct modifier onto the correct item.
Select "Done" when finished.
π€Tip: To remove a modifier from an item, press the x next to the modifier, and it shall be removed.
Making nested modifiers
These are modifiers within a modifier, and can be done infinitely.
1. Go to the modifiers section of your dashboard.
Both the nested modifier and the top-level modifier have to be created as normal modifiers.
To nest a modifier, simply drag the modifier to be nested onto the top-level modifier.
The nested modifier can be removed by clicking the x next to it.
πNote: To add nested modifiers, you must have the feature enabled; reach out to support if not.
Pre-selected modifier options
You can make some modifier options automatically selected when a user selects an item, e.g., if a user adds a burger, then the lettuce, tomato, and bun can be pre-selected for the user to opt out of if they like.
βOpen Menus > Modifiers.
Select the modifier where you would like to add pre-selected options.
On the fields that say Default Quantity, change this to 1 (Or more if you'd like to have pre-selected multiples of that same option).
β
Make a modifier out of stock
From your dashboard, navigate to Menus > Modifiers
Identify the modifier you would like to put out of stock.
Hover over the three dots and select the Edit option.
Identify the modifier option you would like to put out of stock, and click on the Item availability option to the right
A pop-up box will appear of how long you want to make the modifier option unavailable
If you select any of the unavailable options, the modifier option will appear as greyed out and shown as out of stock.
