Scheduled maintenance — infrastructure upgrade (November 2026)

Y
Written by Yassin Farboussi

We are carrying out a short, planned upgrade to the cloud infrastructure that helps power your digital ordering services for web and kiosk. This keeps the platform on a fully supported and secure version. The work takes place overnight and will briefly pause ordering for a few minutes in each region. No action is needed from you, and no data is affected.

When

We are upgrading our UK and European environment and our US environment separately, on different nights, so we can focus on one region at a time.

US

Thursday 5 November 2026, 08:00–09:00 UTC (03:00–04:00 EST / 00:00–01:00 PST)

A few minutes

We reserve up to one hour per region as a safety window, but the actual pause is expected to be only a few minutes.

What to expect

During the window, digital ordering will pause briefly while we complete the upgrade. Once complete, service resumes automatically. You do not need to restart anything.

Do I need to do anything?

No. There is no action required. Your services will come back online on their own once the upgrade is complete.

Why we are doing this

The current version of our cloud infrastructure is reaching the end of its standard support period with our provider. Upgrading to the current long-term support release keeps the platform secure, fully supported, and receiving ongoing security updates.

We are carrying out the upgrade proactively and on a controlled schedule, during our lowest-traffic periods, to minimise disruption and allow us to respond quickly if anything unexpected occurs.
